Some Tips on how to limited the problem of looters.
1. When some one new wants to join the clan always check them out first on the clan looters site.
2. Be aware in chat, if someone is running around in chat begging for a clan or constantly PM'ing you then think before you let them in, why are they so desperate?..... Desperatly needing the gym is not an excuse.
3. Be karma smart, each rank in your clan is allocated a certain amount of karma that they can spend each day (default 10k).
Think about what you want each class to have (up to the unlimited maximum).
4. Allow for a cooling off period, create a rank in the clan (called newbie or somesuch) and only allow a karma spend of a hundred or less.
This will allow the player to only take a minimum of stuff. Nine times out of ten this will make the looter leave a clan and move on to another target.
Be carefull though as genuine newbies will require access to a decent stash, so make sure that this rank is only for a few days.
5. Unless it goes against an idea that you have (maybe a clan bank) then ban the donation of meat paste/stacks as these are often used to boost the amount of
karma that a player has within a clan.
6. Remember large numbers of players does not make a good clan, if the player doesnt feel right then don't let them in, it wont hurt you clan in the long
run and will even save you money on stat days.
